About Boots AI: Bridging Intelligence and Institutional Memory

At Boots On The Ground AI (Boots AI), we believe a business’s most valuable asset is its institutional knowledge. However, as businesses grow or experience turnover, that knowledge often decays, leaving operations vulnerable. We solve this through our proprietary Institutional Memory Engine (IME)—a local-first AI system that captures and preserves how your business actually operates.

Bridging Intelligence and Institutional Memory

Our work spans from supporting local "Ma & Pa" shops like HVAC services and Hello Gorgeous Med Spa to securing complex data workflows for world-class institutions like the University of Chicago Toxicology Research Labs. By orchestrating local AI agent systems, we don’t just automate tasks; we enable AI to run entire systems while staying strictly compliant with evolving regulations, such as the January 2026 Illinois AI law.

Whether we are deploying AI voice receptionists for real estate firms or building secure "AI Compliance Passports," our mission remains the same: ensuring your business remembers everything, even when your best people leave.

The Boots AI Playbook

We Build AI that doesn't just work—it remembers.

  • Boots On The Ground AI was born from a turning point. After two decades in corporate tech—leading conversational AI for global brands—I saw the same pattern again and again: small businesses were overwhelmed, underserved, and falling behind as AI advanced faster than anyone expected.

What I also saw? Big AI companies solve for scale, not for people. Small businesses don’t need hype; they need translation. Real humans need real support, not another login screen.

So I left the corporate ladder, put both feet in my local community, and decided to rebuild AI from the ground up. Not as a faceless tool but as a trusted companion.

It’s AI grounded in empathy and local identity. It’s the bridge between old-school work ethic and future-ready automation. It’s tech made for people who never thought “AI” was for them.

🇮🇹 Boots Means Everything to Me. Today I’m proud to announce Boots On The Ground AI. 🎉 Why “Boots”? Because this name is family and every client I work with I treat like family. It started with my late father, a Vietnam veteran. His combat boots were a symbol of strength and love in our home. “These Boots Are Made For Walking” became our family karaoke anthem—shouted loud, together, and unapologetically joyful. When we lost him this year, I brought home a puppy named Boots, who carries his spirit forward. Now, Boots AI is born. Not just a business. A living legacy.

This is my mission: To help small businesses thrive by making AI simple, human, and hyper-local.

  • Your business’s most valuable asset isn’t its data, its software, or even its current headcount. It’s its institutional memory—the collective, hard-earned know-how that ensures operations run smoothly, securely, and compliantly.

Yet, in most organizations, this intelligence is fragile. It exists in silos, in heads, and in habits. When people leave, it decays.

This Playbook isn't about generic AI automation. It’s about a fundamentally different approach: the Institutional Memory Engine (IME).

  • At Boots AI, we pioneer local-first AI systems designed to capture and preserve your business's operational DNA. In the following pages, we'll share the strategies we've used to deploy secure, compliant AI agents for partners ranging from local professional services to the University of Chicago Toxicology Research Labs. What happens to your business's intelligence when your best people leave?

It’s a silent crisis we call "knowledge decay." Processes, compliance nuance, and operational secrets walk out the door, leaving your business vulnerable.

At Boots On The Ground AI, we believe your business should remember how it runs, no matter who comes or goes. That's why we built the Institutional Memory Engine (IME).

We’re not just talking about simple task automation. We’re talking about secure, local-first AI systems that capture and preserve your organization's collective intelligence.

From streamlining operations for local "Ma & Pa" shops to securing complex, compliant data workflows for world-class institutions like the University of Chicago Toxicology Research Labs, our mission is the same:

  • You'll learn how to move beyond simple task automation and build orchestrated systems that:

    • Stop knowledge decay by making operational intelligence permanent.

    • Ensure strict compliance with evolving regulations like the 2026 Illinois AI law.

    • Empower your team to focus on high-value work, knowing the system "remembers" the rest.

It’s time to build a business that is resilient by design. Let's begin.
